American Red Cross Summer Youth Corps Program
The American Red Cross is offering a summer volunteer opportunity for students:
"The Summer Youth Corps Program is an opportunity for students to receive volunteer experience, a letter of reference, and documented community service hours. Students are required to volunteer for thirty hours between June and August". This opportunity is available to students who are at least 16 years old. Flyers which list further details for the program are available in the counseling office.

Summer Career Camps for High School Teens at Oakland University
As the school year comes to an end, students are ready for fun times with their friends over the summer. But as a college-bound teen, summer is also an excellent opportunity to decide on your college major and future career path. Oakland University's summer career camps are a unique pre-college experience for motivated and ambitious high school teens. You will participate in hands-on skill-building activities, roll-up-your-sleeves team exercises, action-packed field trips, and dynamic discussions with OU's faculty, staff and industry professionals.
